LOVE ONE ANOTHER

*Love One Another*   _*By Prince Eudes*_  JOHN 13:34-35 ESV 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35   this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." JOHN 15:12 ESV 12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. JOHN 15:17 ESV 17 These things I command you, so that you will love one another. ROMANS 12:10 ESV 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. ROMANS 13:8 ESV 8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. 1 CORINTHIANS 6:7 ESV 7 To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? GALATIANS 5:13 ESV 13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one ...

When Loneliness Overwhelms*

*When Loneliness Overwhelms*   _By Prince Eudes_  What should you do when you feel alone? January 22, 2024 Hebrews 13:5-8 Solitude can be nice—relaxing, even—especially after a busy day or a long shift at work. Spending time alone can leave you feeling recharged and rested. But loneliness is different. So, what should you do if you feel lonely? First, ask yourself if you’ve accepted Jesus’ invitation to have a personal relationship with Him. He is the nearest, dearest friend you can ever have. Second, remember that God repeatedly promises that He will never leave or abandon you. (See Deut. 31:6; Josh. 1:5;Josh. 1:9; Ps. 27:10; John 14:18.) You can also ...  Pray. Ask the Lord to help you have a right understanding of who you are as His child. Scripture tells us that God loves us with an everlasting love (Jer. 31:3) and that He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Prov. 18:24). Ask Him to help you to feel His love and friendship. Memorize the Lord’s pro...

WHAT IS FAITH?

What Is Faith? ROMANS 1:17 ESV 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith." Since the Bible reveals that we, who have been made righteous by receiving Jesus Christ, are to live by faith, we need to know what faith is. Faith is what you believe. In the New Testament, faith is the noun form and believe is the verb form of the same word. Faith is not difficult to understand. If you believe something, that is your faith. Faith and belief are the same thing. A belief is something you have accepted as truth and consider to be true, whether it is actually true or not. Faith is not a feeling, attitude, outlook, or state. Faith is primarily a choice, a decision of your will. Nothing can force you to believe. What you believe is a decision you make. Here is a definition: Faith is always a decision, based on some evidence, resulting in some action. So faith is when you are persuaded by the evidence you h...

Focus On Eternity

SERMORMON BY PRINCE EUDES   Focus On Eternity By Prince Eudes MATTHEW 6:19-20 NLT 19 "Don't store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. When I was young my family had a wall plaque which said: "Only one life, will soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will last." 1 CORINTHIANS 3:13 NLT 13 But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person's work has any value. If I buy a vehicle for myself it will last only a few years. Then it will rust, wear out, and break down. But if I buy a vehicle for someone that will enable them to preach the Gospel to more people, the blessing and memory of that purchase will last for eternity. This is not to say it is wrong to have nice things for ourselves. (For it does not bring glory...

CONSULT GOD sermon by Prince Eudes

PRAISE THE LORD            WORD FOR TODAY                          CONSULT GOD                           BY Prince Eudes God promises you in Psalm 32:8 that, He will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; and will give you counsel and watch over you. God has the wisdom, the guidance, and the direction we need, but it doesn’t happen automatically. Many times we make our plans without consulting God, then we ask Him to bless them... and we wonder why things don't work out for us. The right way is to ask God first. "God, is this what You want me to do? Should I start this project, should I take this trip, should I make this purchase?” If you feel peace about it, go forward. If not, hold back. God knows what’s best for you. He will not only keep you on the right path today, but He will keep you from making major mist...

YOU CARRY JESUS Sermon By Prince Eudes

You Carry Jesus JOHN 12:14-15 NKJ 14 Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: 15 "Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey's colt." If you have received Jesus, then Jesus lives in you. So wherever you go, Jesus goes. Just like the donkey in the verse above, you carry Jesus. 2 CORINTHIANS 6:16 NKJ 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people." God is not living in a building on earth, but in people who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. When people need or want to find God, they should be able to come to you. GALATIANS 2:20 NKJ 20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me...

SPEAK TO THE PROBLEM

*Speak To The Problem*  By Prince Eudes  MATTHEW 17:20 NKJ 20 So Jesus said to them, . . . if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. While I won't question that what Jesus said is literally true, I think the primary lesson He meant for us to understand is that a mountain is anything standing in our way -- which we would call a problem. Lots of people speak to God about their problems. But not many people speak to their problems and tell them to be gone. It's not wrong to discuss things with God. But that is not all we should do. Jesus spoke to problems and He instructed us to speak to things we want removed from our lives. LUKE 17:6 ESV 6 And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you. You may think it's strange to speak to thin...

Laughing at the Impossible*

*Laughing at the Impossible*   *BY PRINCE EUDES*  God is able to do far more in your life than you can possibly imagine. January 12, 2024 Genesis 18:1-15 Sarah was approaching age 90 when she overheard a mysterious visitor tell her husband that she’d give birth to her first child in a year’s time. Sarah thought she was alone and unseen when she laughed in disbelief, but God revealed to Abraham how she’d reacted (Gen. 18:13-15). Sarah tried denying it, but the exchange emphasizes that nothing—not even a weary laugh—is hidden from God. In fact, it wasn’t the first time Sarah had heard this promise. God had previously told her nearly century-old husband that she would give birth and the boy’s name would be Isaac (Gen. 17:15-22). Abraham had fathered one child, Ishmael, with Sarah’s Egyptian maid Hagar. But now God was saying the son born to Sarah in her old age would be heir to an earlier promise: that Abraham would be the father of a great nation (Gen. 12:2-3). Sarah’...

To See the Glory of God’s Purposes

To See the Glory of God’s Purposes The light of Christ provides hope, love, and power to overcome any darkness. January 2, 2024 Ephesians 1:18-19 If you’ve ever stumbled through your house in the dark, then you know that even perfect vision is useless without light. But flip a switch, and everything suddenly becomes much clearer. That’s what Paul’s getting at when he prays “that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened” (Eph. 1:18). It’s not a prayer for some kind of spiritual X-ray vision; rather, he’s asking that God enable the Ephesians to view everything they experience in the best light of all—His light. What did they need to see? The scope and richness of salvation in Christ. First, it’s grounded in hope, something the Ephesians didn’t have before their encounter with Jesus. They’d been outside God’s kingdom, but as a result of His calling, they became His people. That reality transformed not only their future but also their present. Now, as God’s treasured people, they wer...
